Harold "Skip" Connett
Skip Connett's proven experience as a media coach for large and small businesses, as well as non-profit organizations, is grounded in a solid, first-hand knowledge of the media. He is an award-winning journalist with more than 10 years of achievement covering subjects as diverse as current health issues, city government, education, and religion/ethics.
As a media trainer, he offers solid, practical advice and gives his clients the confidence and knowledge to deal with the media more effectively. Clients respect him for his calm demeanor and constructive feedback.
His work has appeared in media such as Associated Press and National Public Radio, and for organizations such as the World Health Organization and the Center for Disease Control. He was speechwriter for two CDC directors. In 1996, Skip was awarded the National Press Club Newsletter Journalism Award for Investigative Reporting. He received similar awards from the Newsletter Publishers Association, Georgia Associated Press, and the Society of Professional Journalists, Atlanta Chapter, among others.
